Jailers 4 - 4 Diegos
The Great Escape...
How on earth did we get away with that?
4 down at half time, played off the park, chasing shadows.... no meaningful chances... And then the second half started. 4-4 at full time after then Dave stops their 7th pen to give Kyle the chance to win the game for Diegos, duly converted...
Probably a bit harsh on the Jailers guys who must have thought they had won it but it was the classic game of 2 halves as apart from a 2 attacks in the second half they never threatened. Cracking day out in the end, great pies and beer in Dickens (cheers guys) and we stroll (or waddle...) onto the semi finals on the 20th.
Special mention must go to Iain MacIver who managed to surpass himself after his amazing miss in Dundee. 2 misses of the highest order this time, maybe he will finally get his hat trick in the semis???
