Who is Diego?

The Diego TA is a group, originally from Inverness but now spread all over Scotland, who go 'steamin' in' for all matches involving the Scottish International Team! The TA takes its name from a 2ft ceramic penguin, called Diego, who was liberated from a cage on the Lithuanian border during the Euro 2008 campaign.

Rumours over why Diego suffered imprisonment are many and varied but he refuses to confirm or deny any, preferring
to retain his air of mystery...
